In June, DePaul's EDGE program won the Career Services Excellence Award from the National Association of Colleges and Employers. The university beat out 115 other nominated programs for the award.

DePaul's EDGE program, short for Education and Development Grant for Employability, provides eligible first-year students the opportunity to participate in a campus-wide program combining career and job skills development while contributing to a department or project team.

Established in 1956, the NACE connects more than 7,300 college career services professionals at nearly 2,000 colleges and universities nationwide. The organization provides its members with resources and research, networking and professional development opportunities, and standards ethics and guidance on key issues.
