Last week, The Princess Grace Foundation-USA announced the winners of the 2017 Princess Grace Awards. The foundation named Michael Burke, a student in DePaul's MFA directing program, and Delaney Feener, a senior in DePaul's BFA acting program, as recipients of the Theater Scholarship. Feener also received a 2017 Robert and Gloria Hausman Theater Award from the foundation. The scholarships will be directly applied to the students' final year of studies at DePaul; both are set to graduate in 2018. The organization will honor the award recipients at its annual gala in October.

Founded in the 1980s, The Princess Grace Foundation-USA is a non-profit organization headquartered in New York City and established by Prince Rainier III of Monaco to honor the legacy of his wife, Princess Grace Kelly. The organization aims to identify and assist emerging talent in theater, dance, and film by awarding grants in the form of scholarships, apprenticeships, and fellowships. The foundation created the awards to honor the Princess of Monaco and to recognize a new group of emerging artists in theater, dance and film each year.
