Cliff Colnot, conductor The DePaul Wind Ensemble consists of thirty student musicians who perform repertoire of the highest quality by outstanding composers. Instrumentation is flexible and, depending upon the needs of a piece, may vary from eight to twenty musicians. The Wind Ensemble's repertoire has been selected to showcase a wide range of works - from 18th century octets to contemporary pieces. This online orientation serves as an introduction to the Teaching and Learning Certificate Program, or TLCP (tlcp.depaultla.org/). It's meant to be the first workshop taken by program participants, although it can be completed later in the sequence if necessary. During this orientation, you will learn about the program and its requirements, reflect on your approach to learning to begin or revise your statement of teaching philosophy, and set up your digital TLCP teaching portfolio. The teaching portfolio serves as the program's culminating project and a means of reflecting on the content-based workshops. The orientation is fully online and asynchronous--there are no face-to-face meetings. Participants must have reliable access to the Internet during the week 10/09/2017 to 10/16/2017, and should count on committing to approximately 3 hours in total. After the end date, you will retain access to the materials and activities on the orientation's D2L site. This online orientation will be facilitated by Erin Sella and Bo Ju, the TLCP coordinators. If you have not done so already, please complete the online registration form, which we use to gather information about you, your expectations, and your availability: depaul.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0oXELeamAeSGuLX
