Whether you are a trivia buff, love DePaul basketball, interested in cultural dancing, want to connect with fellow faculty and staff or reunite with alumni, there is something for everyone at this year's Blue Demon Week. From Feb. 23 to March 1,  the week-long festivities will bring together students, faculty, staff and alumni to celebrate what it means to be a Blue Demon.

Blue Demon Week is a new tradition that resonates with our university community. While some other schools may have homecoming traditions rallying around a football game, DePaul is different. We have a dedication to service, a dedication to Chicago as our classroom, and a love for our community. Our traditions revolve around those commitments, and so does Blue Demon Week.

Only at Blue Demon Week can you find DePaul pride events like a showcase of Latin and African dances, a retro sports night, and even a dance held at the famous Hard Rock Hotel.  There's also nothing like Blue Demon Day, when students, faculty, staff and alumni top off the week by cheering on our men's basketball team at the Allstate Arena. This year, the Blue Demon team will be taking on Butler on Saturday and our women's basketball team will compete against Marquette on Sunday.

Community members from across the university have played a major role in organizing the second annual Blue Demon Week including Alumni Relations, Blue Crew, Campus Recreation, DePaul Activity Board, DePaul Athletics, Facility Operations, Office of Student Involvement and SGA . The committee has been working very hard to "blue out" the university and create events that everyone can enjoy.

Our campus will be wrapped in Blue Demon pride from banners on our buildings to On Thursdays We Wear Blue. Get involved and check out the Blue Demon Week website for a full listing of events.

Once a Blue Demon, always a Blue Demon.
